21/07 - 25/07: 5th Congress of European Microbiologists (FEMS) The 5th Congress of European Microbiologists (FEMS) will be held in the interesting city of Leipzig from July 21-25, 2013. FEMS brings together 46 member societies from 36 European countries, including over thirty thousand microbiologists. This important microbiology Congress will provide an interesting forum for thousands of European and other international colleagues to appreciate the current state of the art in microbiology during numerous symposia and workshops led by prominent scientists in their field. The meeting will be a chance to discuss solutions to future challenges and to provide topical coverage of key disciplines. Special attention will also be given to young scientists by providing an important number of grants allowing them to attend the Congress.

02/09 - 06/09: II Conferencia Iberoamericana de Interacciones Beneficiosas Microorganismo-Planta-Ambiente En el Congreso, que tendrá su sede en la Universidad de Sevilla, se celebrarán 3 conferencias plenarias y 6 sesiones temáticas. Cada sesión temática constará de 2 ponencias de 30 minutos, 4 comunicaciones orales de 20 minutos y de una discusión general. La Sesión de apertura será el día 2 de septiembre a las 18,30 horas. 04/09 - 06/09: Congreso Ibero-Americano de Epidemiología y Salud Pública El Congreso Ibero-Americano de Epidemiología y Salud Pública tendrá lugar del 4 al 6 de septiembre de 2013 en Granada. Este Congreso está organizado por la Sociedad Española de Epidemiología (SEE), la Sociedad Española de Salud Pública y Administración Sanitaria (SESPAS) y por la Asociación Portuguesa de Epidemiología, y esperamos contar con más de 800 asistentes. In the last few years an increase in expertise related to emerging new sequencing technologies has increased the knowledge of processes involved in evolution, adaptation, and genome and organism diversification.
