Second Multidisciplinary Virtual National Congress on COVID-19 of the Scientific Societies of Spain

The pandemic caused by SARSCoV-2 is significantly affecting our lives and has created an unprecedented health, social and economic emergency in recent decades. For this reason, the scientific community has possibly made one of the most important efforts to contribute to the knowledge of the COVID-19 disease, improve patient management, and develop therapies and vaccines that we hope will help us overcome this pandemic shortly. .
The number of articles and information on this disease grows exponentially day by day and for this reason, the need to organize specific meetings and congresses on COVID-19 has arisen. The first national congress on this topic took place in September 2020 and was organized by the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC). The congress had a great scientific and media repercussion.
These days, the organization of the second national multidisciplinary congress on COVID-19 of the Scientific Societies of Spain is being carried out, which will take place on April 12-16, 2021. On this occasion, the congress will be organized by the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR).
