XIII Meeting of the Specialized Group on Molecular Microbiology

On September 7, 8 and 9, the XIII Meeting of the Specialized Group on Molecular Microbiology will be held, to which you are all invited. It will take place in Granada (Abades Nevada Palace hotel) and is jointly organized by the Zaidín Experimental Station (CSIC) and the University of Granada.
The Molecular Microbiology Group of the SEM promotes interaction between microbiologists from different fields with an interest in molecular processes with the holding of biannual meetings. These meetings, spread throughout Spain, have been held in Pamplona (1996), Valencia (1998), Madrid (2000), Santander (2002), Jaca (2004), Lleida (2006), Cádiz (2008), Barcelona ( 2010), Palma de Mallorca (2012), Segovia (2014), Seville (2016) and Zaragoza (2018). The meeting scheduled for 2020 in Granada was postponed due to health circumstances and will finally be held this year. On this occasion we will also take the opportunity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Molecular Microbiology Group.
The purpose of this conference is to promote the discussion of our latest scientific results in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, especially promoting the participation of younger researchers. Within the framework of this Meeting, prizes will be awarded to two recent research papers of relevance in the field of Molecular Microbiology, as well as prizes for the best communications, both oral and in poster format.
Registration prices range between €160 (student members of the group) and €420 (non-students, non-SEM members), including coffee breaks, lunch and a plenary dinner on the 9th.
