Description: Chaetomium gelasinosporum grown on malt agar, where perithecia covered with curly hairs are observed. The morphology and size of the hairs is used as a taxonomic criterion to differentiate species within this genus. The photo was taken using a LEICA MZ16 magnifying glass and an OLYMPUSDP20 camera.
