Interesting investigator is sought to request a contract Juan de la Cierva in the framework of the next call of the State Research Agency 2025 (AEI 2025).
The candidate will be incorporated into a line focused on the development of dendritic nanosystems applied to the diagnosis of viral infections, within the framework of the projects "Dendritic nanosystems applied to the diagnosis of viral infections”, “A New Frontier: Dendritic Nanosystems for Emerging Viral Infection Diagnosis” y “Dendritic nanosystems applied to the diagnosis of the western Nile virus (Denawest)”.
The objective is to design and optimize rapid, sensitive and affordable diagnostic methods based on nanotechnology for high sanitary impact viruses, such as hepatitis C, dengue and western Nile virus.
Orientative profile of the candidate
- Doctorate obtained between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025 (with exceptions according to the call).
- Not having performed the Predoctoral Formation at the ISCIII.
- Competitive CV, with scientific impact publications and preferred positions
- Participation in research projects, mobility stays and other relevant contributions that conform to the evaluation criteria of Annex I of the call.
- Previous experience in nanotechnology, viral diagnosis or biosensors will be valued.

It is offered
The selected person will acquire experience in: design and application of nanotechnology and biosensors; production and characterization of monoclonal antibodies; Antibody conjugation with functionalized nanoparticles; and optimization of detection platforms in clinical and public health environments.
The work will be developed in a multidisciplinary environment (biology, pharmacy, microbiology, bioinformatics and statistics) integrated into cyberinfec, with collaboration options and national and international stays.
