Physician/specialist in Microbiology and Parasitology (ref. ah 08/26)

At Badalona Servicios Asistenciales we are looking for a Physician/specialist in Microbiology and Parasitology to join our team.

Features:

• Perform and interpret cultures, molecular techniques and serologies.
• Carry out antimicrobial sensitivity/resistance study.
• Issue diagnostic reports.
• Participate in hospital committees
• Participate in the PROA group (recommend complementary tests and guide therapeutic decisions)
• Support healthcare teams in the interpretation of results.
• Monitor and control infections: detection of outbreaks and collaboration with Preventive Medicine, monitoring of multiresistant microorganisms and epidemiological notification.

It is requested:

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery or Biology
• Specialist degree in Microbiology and Parasitology

It will be valued:

• Professional experience related to the job.
• Complementary training related to the job: Doctorate, Master's, Postgraduate, courses, etc.
• Trained in analysis and interpretation of clinical and microbiological data.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Experience in participation in antimicrobial use optimization programs (PROA)
• Effective communication with other health professionals.
• Interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Catalan level C.
