We are looking for a candidate for a 12-month postdoctoral position at the Center for Biology of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic). The purpose of the position is to investigate the microbial interactions of soil-manure systems, particularly with regard to the transmission of antimicrobial resistance to the soil, within the project “Microbial community coalescence: community interchange events and effects on soil microbial diversity, productivity and spreading of risky bioagents" funded by the Czech Science Foundation (GACR).
The candidate will be supervised by Eduardo Pérez-Valera (Institute of Soil Biology, ISB) in close contact with Dana Elhottová (ISB). The research team includes technicians and postdoctoral researchers with experience in microbiology and soil biology.
