Requirements

Minimum studies: Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology/Biological Sciences/ Chemistry/ Pharmacy

Essential resident / availability of transfer: Toledo (In-person)

 

Minimum knowledge required:

  • Experience of at least 3-4 years in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory
  • Microbiological analysis of raw material and finished product
  • Experience in developing methods and validating them.
  • Experience in analysis methods based on culture and PCR.
  • Specific GMP training
  • Knowledge of WFI/PW/CW Analysis
  • Medium/high knowledge of English
  • Valuable experience in team management
  • Highly Valuable PhD in Microbiology
  • Valuable experience working under the ISO 17025 quality system
  • Knowledge of the LIMS system is highly valued

 

- Specific knowledge:

  • Bacterial endotoxins, sterility tests, bioburden, analysis of purified water, environmental control of classified rooms, identification of microorganisms, characterization of strains and biological indicators. GMPs·

The person will be responsible for:

  • Start the project to create a new microbiological analysis laboratory in the company together with a specialist Project Manager.
  • Creation and edition in support of the Quality Assurance area of ​​the company and under the supervision of the Head of Quality Control, the entire documentary system for the implementation of new processes, systems, equipment and activities related to the creation, development and certification of a Microbiological laboratory in a Pharmaceutical company.
  • Carrying out internal controls; preparation and control of culture media, etc.
  • Microbiological analysis of samples
  • Verification of suitability of microbiological methods.
  • Technical advice
  • Identify improvement actions in the analysis execution framework.
  • Perform sampling of purified, deionized water, pure steam, nitrogen, and compressed air.
  • Carry out environmental and personnel monitoring.
  • Perform microbiological validations
  • Manage laboratory reagents and materials.
  • Management of material equipment in terms of maintenance, calibrations, etc.
  • Management of the human team to carry out the objectives of the department
